What could be the connection between the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Nigeria with A former World Boxing Federation (WBF) title holder, Bashiru Ali, popularly known as Bash Ali, as he had vowed to remain at the locked gates of PDP in Abuja until his request is met.
Bash had appealed to the Federal Government to support him to stage a Guinness Book of record world-record boxing fight. His plea seemed to have fell on deaf ears and Mr Ali decided and indeed staged a protest at the PDP Headquarters in Abuja to force the government to assist him, and vowed to remain at the gate until his request is met.
Question is, "is it a fundamental human right", that the Federal Government must accede to his request? What is he up to?
